The Headmaster, Mr Robert Robinson MBE, commented that “Gary and Jonny embody the ethos of Campbell; to inspire individuals to be the best they can be; contribute to the world around them and grow into men of character. It was a privilege to watch them encourage the next generation of Campbellians to fulfil their potential; whether in the classroom or on the stage!”

It was a pleasure to welcome both Gary Lightbody and Jonny Quinn back to the College as Chief Guests for our 2019 Speech Day.  

During their visit Gary toured the Music Department with the Head of Music, Andrew Doherty, and chatted openly with several young musicians about life in the music inductry and listened to them play. And Jonny, who found his love of the drums whilst at the College was outside with the Pipe & Drums watching and listening them play a number of sets.
