It is with immense sadness that the Campbell College community has received the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We extend our condolences and sympathy to the Royal Family, as they mourn the loss of a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Queen Elizabeth’s faith, honour and life of service have been a source of guidance and strength for the nation and Commonwealth.
As a mark of respect, all extra-curricular activities due to take place after school today and over the weekend have been cancelled. This includes house hockey this afternoon, matches and training tomorrow morning and the European Heritage Open Days.
The College will be marking the Queen’s passing with pupils during the days ahead, in line with the rest of the nation.
