Rory Fitzpatrick's (11475) film "Wanderings of Oisin" has received further acclaim. In May he was awarded a Gold Remi award at the 51st International Worldfest film festival in Houston Texas, for his film. In July Rory won the Student Drama Award at the NI Short Film Awards: https://vimeo.com/217725168.

Another OC, Jamie Baker (11436) was shortlisted for an award for one of the films from his QUB Film Course.

Unfortunately Rory was unable to be at the ceremony as he is in New Zealand and his award was collected by his father Colin Fitzpatrick (6129).

The Wanderings of Oisín is a short irish language film which gives a modern twist to the legend of Oisín and Tír na nÓg.
