The OC Annual Golf Day was held on Friday 19th May 2023 at The Royal Belfast Golf Club.  Over 50 golfers competed for the Allison Cup and the majority enjoyed dinner in the main dining room of Irelands oldest golf club.  Some had made their way from as far afield as London and indeed, Cookstown!

The weather was good and the golf, for the most part, was excellent.  Four golfers returned scores of 38 points and were separated only by their back nine and last three hole scores.

The Allison Cup was won by Peter Rolston (11176), with a gross score of 3 under par off a handicap of +1.  The runner up, Karl Eccles (11113), had recorded a score of 1 under gross.

Prizes were provided by The Society, Andrew Ferguson (RBGC Club Professional), Dave Moore (9676), of Mizuno Golf, and Garth Boyd (9938), of Taylormade Golf.  We were also extremely grateful to Mr Brian McIlroy (Uncle of Rory) who provided us with 5 limited edition Rory McIlroy head covers.

Our grateful thanks go to the golf club and in particular the staff who, as ever, looked after us late into the evening.
