This year, the boys in Boarding have each week filled boxes and delivered parcels of food to the charity, Storehouse. A number of Campbellians and staff will be running the marathon for Storehouse. The race will start at Stormont at 9am and finish in Ormeau Park on Sunday 5th May 2024.
We thought it would be great idea for OCs &Parents to support not just them, but also Storehouse. The Society is providing shirts to the Campbellians and staff and we want you to be a part of it too! Shirts will cost £30 and the majority of this will go towards Storehouse.
Storehouse freely provides food, clothes and toiletry packs to families and individuals throughout Belfast who are experiencing extreme financial difficulty. They also assist those moving from homelessness or hostel accommodation into their own home for the first time, by providing furniture & basic household goods.
They partner with over 200 different agencies, charities and statutory bodies, covering every demographic of poverty.
If you are running the marathon, and not running already for a chosen charity......run with us! A shirt will be provided featuring the CCB crest, the OC logo and the Storehouse logo. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate all aspects of the college that we love, working in unison together and at the same time support a worthwhile charity that the boarders have been helping out all year.
Please let us know that you want to run by emailing ocs.manager@oldcampbellians.co.uk
tell us your name and shirt size, whether you are a parent, staff or an OC, and we will be in touch to let you know the details
Closing date is 22nd April.
