The 2018 Remembrance Service was held on Friday the 9th of November in the Central Hall. This year was particularly poignant as it marked the Centenary of the end of The First World War in 1918.

The Congregation faced the WWI Memorial rather than the Chapel and the Service was led by the Headmaster, Robert Robinson, and The address was given by The Right Reverend Dr Charles McMullen.

Poems were read by Erin Woods from Lagan College, Molly Longstaff from Strathearn School and Ross Taylor, CCB.

The congregation remained standing whilst wreaths were laid by Mr Robert Bell (6608),  President of the Old Campbellian Society, on behalf of the Old Boys; by Mr Peter (Darby) Davis 3950), on behalf of the Old Campbellian Society, by Colonel (Retired) JW Rollins MBE (5659), on behalf of The Reserve Forces and Cadets Association for Northern Ireland; by Commander Rob Milligan, SNONI, on behalf of The Royal Navy; by Sergeant Brian Curley, on behalf of 38 (Irish) Brigade; by WO Pedro Gomes, Senior Cadet of the CCF, on behalf of the Headmaster, boys and staff of the College; and by a member of The Royal British Legion (Sydenham).

A photograph to commemorate the 100 years since the end of the War was taken beside the WWI Memorial after the Service in which silhouettes from "There But Not There", OCs, Honorary OCs, staff, Cadets from the College & Bloomfield and pupils each representing those OCs who made the ultimate sacrifice in WWI.

On the 11th of November the College Band played exactly 100 years after the cessation of War on the 11th of November 1918.
