First of all may I wish you all a Happy New Year and my best wishes for 2022.  This is the year that The Society celebrates the 120th Anniversary of its very first Dinner back in 1902, adopting the name "Old Campbellian" for those that passed through the corridors and spent their formative years at the College.

On Monday 28th February at 7pm, The Annual General Meeting of The Old Campbellian Society will take place in The Sixth Form Centre of the College.  All OCs are most welcome to attend.

On Friday 10th June 2022 The Annual Dinner will take place at the College and it would be great to see as many OCs return to the College to renew friendships and celebrate our Anniversary.  Already we have many year groups celebrating the passing of time since leaving the College, whether that be 20, 30, 40, 50 or even 60!  We are grateful to those individuals who have ‘rallied the troops’ to attend and are happy to help in facilitating spreading the net wider.  It does not have to be a multiple of 5 in terms of years left and I would particularly encourage those that left 32 years ago to consider attending! (We had a great time at our 25th anniversary!).

The OC Golf Day will take place a few weeks prior to the Dinner on Friday 20th May at The Royal Belfast Golf Club.  Already we have bookings for the day and further details will be published on the website in the coming weeks.  If you don’t have a four ball, don’t worry it is not unusual and we will be able to accommodate in the timings.

We (fingers crossed) look forward to the return of The OC Ball on Friday 28th October after a two year hiatus due to COVID.

A date in June for the Cricket Match v The College will hopefully be confirmed shortly.

This month will see the the launch of The OC Jacket, details for which will appear on Facebook and the website imminently.  We have already received a high level of interest and you can be register your interest at ocjacket@gmail.com

To further mark the 120th Anniversary a number of new items will be available in the The OC Shop online, so please keep an eye on the website, not just for these items, but also for additional news &/or events throughout the year.

With best wishes for 2022
